Many people argue that there is no better place in the world to train for triathlon than Boulder, Colorado in the summer. Come find out what dozens of professional triathletes love about this training mecca!

Join us June 13-18th for a full week of triathlon training; or hit up the part-week Thursday-Saturday option to familiarize yourself with the 140.6-mile race course. Our camp will be centered around training, with seminars focused on fueling, pacing, recovery, and race strategies. All rides are fully supported, and vary in distance from 30 to 112 miles. We cater to all abilities, and provide newbies and veterans with equal levels of world class support. Don’t miss out!

  • Ironman Boulder bike and run course reconnaissance – fully supported
  • Coached swim, bike and run sessions
  • Outdoor pool/Open Water Swimming at Boulder reservoir
  • Lectures on race fueling, proper pacing, recovery and race strategies

  • Bike mechanic available each morning
  • Evening meals provided
  • Guest speaker – Professional Ironman Athlete

7:00-10:00 – Breakfast

10:15-11:30 – Pool Swim – – CAC

1:15-2:45 – Easy 60-75min Bike – Neva loop

3:00-3:40pm – 40min easy Run – from HIE – Wonderland Lake

6:00 – Dinner – HIE

Daily Training Hours:  3hrs

Tuesday, June 14th:

6:10-7:30 – Open water swim at Boulder reservoir

8:00-12:00 – Carter Lake long Bike

12:00 – Transition Run – Wonderland

4:00 – recovery window

6:00 – Dinner – HIE

7:00 – Seminar

Daily Training Hours:  5.5hrs

Wednesday, June 15th:

7:00 – 9:00 – Run  

1:00-2:00 – 45min Light Functional Strength Session – Image TRX

10:00 – 12:30 – free time/ lunch break

2:00-4:00 – Light bike – Lyons Loop or Jamestown

5:00-6:00 – Seminar – Mindset of Racing Ironman

Thursday, June 16th:

7:00-12:00 – 65 mile Bike – Ward/ St Vrain

12:00-5:00 – Recovery Window – massage available

6:00-7:15: Stroke and Stride (swimrun event) – Boulder Rez

7:30: Dinner/ Introductions – HIE

Friday, June 17th:

7:30-10:00 – Long Run – Boulder Creek Path

11:00 – 12:00 – Swim – Scott Carpenter 50m pool

 

6:30 – 7:30 – Seminar – Guest Pro Triathlete

Daily Training Hours: 3-4hrs

Saturday, June 18th:

6:30-3:00: Long Bike – 112miles  – race prep

3:00 – 30-40min Transition Run

4:00-5:30 – Recovery Window – Massage available

6:00 – 7:00 – Dinner

Daily Training Hours: 6-8hrs

Sunday, June 19th:

Departure day

TARGET ATHLETE

Athletes looking for a fully supported training week in the amazing triathlon mecca of Boulder. Also, anyone looking for intimate familiarity with the Boulder Ironman course, and looking for the tools to execute a smart race. ACCOMMODATION

The Holiday Inn Express, Boulder is our camp host hotel and it is located in the heart of north Boulder, near shops, restaurants and cafes, and just 2 miles from downtown Boulder. MEALS

This Camp offers evening meals each evening with the exception of one night which is left open for you to enjoy a local restaurant of your choosing.

Breakfast: Included in the cost of your accommodation at the Holiday Inn Express.

Lunch: We are typically on the road for lunch so leave athletes up to their own devices for this meal.

Dinner: Catered dinners each night (with the exception of free night) are all part of the camp fee.

Ride Food: Training nutrition and hydration provided by our sponsors and an array of real food snacks will be available throughout each training session.
